Each promotion offered exposures to more challenging hurdles increasing sales skill level as well, while simultaneously fine tuning other areas of sales such as; being a better listener, creatively and effectively finding mutually beneficial resolutions, learning to neutralize situations by having client's mirror my calm behavior, and overcoming anxiety of asking for business. I began working with Wyndham as a Sales Executive in Nashville, TN, and was promoted to the company's first On-Site Owner Service Specialist responsible for mediating misrepresentation issues while ultimately saving the sale 8 months later. The role also included training, monitoring representatives in the area of customer service, and rolling out new sales contest. The next promotion while in Nashville was to Marketing Assistant, which encompassed administrative support to the Marketing Director, in addition to assisting with implementing marketing plans, lead generation, organizing & executing special events for owners and monitoring the results of all marketing categories. In 2005, due to the my success and positive impact on site's cancellation rate, I was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager being responsible for reviewing contract documents with owners at point of sale as well as overseeing training representatives best sales practices. My final position was a Rescission Recovery Specialist, again originated from the positive results of the On-Site Specialist role, leading the company to create a company-wide team. My decision to change professional directions from sales was due to changes in marital status and needing a more flexible schedule for my family.
