Educaon Grants 2015 deadlines Educaon Grants 2015 deadlines DuPont Challenge 6 - 12 Science Wring Compeon! Students must write a research - backed essay in one of 4 categories -- food producon, energy, conservaon/ preservaon and digital innovaon. Essays must be between 700 and 1000 words and must be submied electronically. There are two divisions, for grades 6 - 8 and 9 - 12. The top three winners in each division win a prize pack, plus a savings bond of $5,000, $3,000, or $1,000. Honorable menons in each division receive prize packs, plus a $200 savings bond. Deadline: January 31, 2015 Lowe’s Toolbox for Educaon This award is open to any individual public K - 12 school or non proft parent groups such as PTO, PTA, etc. Projects should fall into one of the following categories: technology upgrades, tools for STEM programs, facility renovaons and safety improvements.
