Farewell to Sonia Joseph , Editor-in-Chief of Window Seat. Her incredible diligence and devotion for the magazine have allowed her to lead a staff that took great strides to improve the magazine this year. Just like a fairy godmother, Sonia has resolved many layout crises calmly with what seems like a wave of her wand. She brought the group together with her beaming smiles and efcient and effective management. She is also a fantastic writer, although she is quite humble about her talent. Sonia will be attending Princeton University this fall. Farewell to Amelie Lasker , Creative Writing Leader. With her bright personality and sweet smiles, Amelie warmly and enthusiastically welcomed new and old members at every meeting. She always prepared intriguing plans for every Thursday meeting and did a fantastic job in engaging all the members of Window Seat. Her bravery for tackling the challenge of leading the most introverted club of AB is commendable. We will miss her abundant energy during our weekly meetings. Amelie will be attending Columbia University this fall. Farewell to Emily Purdom, Art Editor. Her excellent aesthetical choices have added greatly to every issue, especially in the Window Seat magazine covers. Through her innova- tion, Emily helped create eye-catching photo covers that enhanced the tone of each issue. Also, through her extensive experience and understanding as an artist, she contributed many beautiful pieces, and solicited many splendid pieces of artwork from the Art Department. Emily will be attending Babson College this fall. Farewell to Monica Baum , Managing Editor. We will sorely miss her calmness in management and supervision. With her systematic organization, we could always count on her to take care of many tasks that seemed small, but together had a huge impact on Win- dow Seat. Monica’s weekly emails always contributed greatly to maintaining coordination, and her welcoming and casual personality resonated in her communication with members. Monica will be attending Muhlenberg College this fall. Farewell to Caitlin Guthlein , Publicity Managing Editor. Her extraordinary skill in re- cruiting members has helped Window Seat develop into the ourishing club that it is today. But more importantly, through her Lady Macbeth-like approach in her soliciting, Window Seat was able to publish all three beautiful magazines this year. Her formidable efforts in collecting funds played a crucial role in ensuring that the magazine would be printed. Caitlin will be attending Boston College this fall. Also, we would like to give a shout out to the lovely seniors who have contributed to Window Seat. Their passion for writing and art have greatly contributed to the magazine and also helped dene Window Seat over the years. Farewell to all the seniors of Window Seat, and the future members following closely behind them wish everyone the best in the future! Lily He, Editor-in-Chief, Class of 2015 5
