It’s been a best of 4.98 (1/8 th mile ET) at 141.65 MPH, and it’s currently number 6 in the country, only off by .03 from the class record. This is only Eric’s rst season racing the car in the class! The meat and potatoes consist of a 427 Dart block with an Eagle crank and Oliver billet rods, topped off with Diamond pistons. Heads are Edelbrock Victor Glidden badboys, with nal engine assembly done by Jeremy over at Extreme Racing Engines. A single-plate Speedtech nitrous system sits at the top and exhaust is exhaled out of Kook’s headers, with a GM Powerglide (built by Eric’s uncle over at Gene’s Auto) sitting between them. Lenny from UCC (Ultimate Converter Concepts) supplied the converter which connects the two together. Under the engine resides an AJE K-Member with UPR A-arms holding Aerospace brakes all around (special thanks to Scott Meals). Mark Mencer “The Shock Nerd” has his custom coil-overs in the rear, which resides in a full UPR Pro Series rear suspension, thanks to Brian over at UPR. Bringing everything together with fabrication and cage work was Don from Crazy Don’s Chassis Shop. And the shiny nish of paint and bodywork is from Kenny at Merrick Collision.
