Curses ( Duabo) is a spiritual attack that is initiated by one person on another as a form of revenge for a wrong done. Some of the causes for a curse can be as little as just a gossip on someone where the aggrieved might feel like he/she has been disgraced. Most of the time people are victims of Duabo might have stolen something or fornicated with someone's wife or husband. Duabo must be distinguished from Eduto( putting negative medicine or juju on another). The Eduto does have all the reasons which motivates people to curse as in Duabo but its other distinctive feature is that someone can place a juju on someone just for the mere fact of jealousy.
