Greetings from Rev. Brian Z. Evans, Pastor “I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvelous work. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name O thou most high.” Psalm 9:1-2 W ith a heart of thanksgiving and praise I give thanks to our heavenly Father for preserving, protecting and providing throughout the many years of ministry administered through the First Baptist Church of Nutley. For there have been many struggles, but God has once again proven himself. Over the course of our rich 125 year history, we take this moment to recognize every pastor, leader and member that has worked tirelessly in the vineyard of First Baptist Church of Nutley. This auspicious occasion is not a celebration to be comfortable, but it is a call to raise the standard and achieve greater works in the kingdom. My Prayer is that we continue to work and move forward in order to obtain and accomplish the work that the Lord has laid before us. With prayer, endurance and faithfulness in our Savior, The Lord Jesus the Christ, we can be examples that nothing is impossible. So let us continue to present greater works and challenge our faith. Remembering always to put God first that he alone might get all of the glory through us. Rev Brian Z. Evans Pastor and Senior Servant F IRST B APTIST C HURCHOF N UTLEY
