The mouse according to windows.com is the pointing device that detects two- dimensional motion relative to surface. This motion is typically translated into the motion of a pointer on a display, which allows for fine control of a graphical user interface. The memory The memory of the computer refers to the part of the computer that stores programmes and software that is installed in the computer. It is divided into the primary and secondary memory.  Primary memory It consists of two parts, namely Read Only Memory (ROM) and Random Access Memory (RAM). The ROM memory is the permanent memory and cannot be deleted and it is this memory that stores the basic operating system of the computer. The RAM memory is the temporary storage memory and can be deleted and edited as the user choses.  Secondary memory Data that needs to be stored permanently is stored in the secondary memory. Data in the secondary memory is not stored permanently, as the user may decide to remove data from secondary memory devices to, but for as long as the user decides not to delete the data from a hard disk or memory stick it will remain there.
