2 I love to tell the story comfort & joy id you know that the birth of Jesus was actually told far before His birth? Some don't believe that it really happened. The story seems too be good to be true.I believe it because God said so, and He keeps His word.I wonder if people who first heard theprophecyabout a king could wrap their minds around how this was all going to play out? Could a baby's birth really bring all that was written about?Could God caring for us be real? How can we really trust what the writers of old had to say? After all, it is a strange way to save humans. Because God says so....it is. I do believe in the miracle of Christmas.I believe by faith that Jesus came down from Heaven in the form of a tiny, pure little baby to bring salvation to the world. It's one of the greatest stories ever told. Why would Heaven come near to us, in the middle of our sin, in the middle of our messy lives, and in the middle of our upside down world? Why would Heaven care to humiliate and put to death one innocent man as punishment for our wrongs, thus giving us a way to live forever? Why would the best of humanity bear the worst of humanity? It's a story that never gets old.God keeps His promises, and sending Jesus proves His love for us.This whole plan was His idea because He loved us first. For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love, He predestined us to be adopted as His sons and daughters through Jesus Christ, in accordance with His good pleasure and will." Ephesians 1:4-5 God showed how much He loved us by sending His one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him. This is real love — not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:9 God not only chose us, but He gave us ownership in the Kingdom of Heaven with the gift of Jesus.Pure Love came down from Heaven and gifted man with eternal security -filling our days with love, joy and peace. The celebration of Christmas reminds us of the hope of Heaven.Hope in its purest form, wrapped up in a tiny breathing baby bundle, breathing life into our weary and tired souls .
